After reading Duck for President, Mrs. Keith and Mrs. Goforth's Kindergarten class got to participate in voting.
As you can see, the class voted CHOCOLATE CHIP has their favorite cookie!

Over the last 3 weeks, Mrs. Lee's 1st grade class has been learning about The Big Outdoors. The main focus was habitats! Students ended the unit with some fun habitat sensory bins where they got to experience all that they have learned. They created dunes in the desert, saved the ocean animals from becoming endangered, got to see how blubber helps animals that live in cold places, and much much more.

Our 1st grade students have been learning all kinds of things about America in Unit 6 of their reading series.
Today, they had some Navy pilots visit to tell them a little more about their job and the importance of serving our country.


Clarkdale celebrated being an A+ school by having "A" Celebration for the students on Friday, December 16, 2022.
Students enjoyed crafts, games, bouncy houses/slides, hot-cocoa, and snacks! A fun time was had by all!

Pre-K held their 1st Donuts & Decorations!
They had 70 guests come to enjoy donuts and view their artwork!

4th-6th graders (along with their families) were invited to attend Stargazing Night. Students participated in: Planisphere Craft, Space Trivia, Space Snack and Photo Booth, Moon Phase Kickball, Telescopes and Astrophotography Lesson, and Show What you Know Video. Thank you Mrs. Anderson for putting this event on. Also, thank you to the staff that volunteered time to help make this event successful.


5th grade Quest students researched Christmas traditions in a country of their choice. They presented what they learned at the Christmas Around the World Culture Fair. (Information Literacy (Research Skills), Communication Skills, Creativity, Affective Skills, Social Skills)

Thanksgiving Table STEM! Problem Solving, Teamwork, Communication
Using only paper and tape, can you and your partner build a Thanksgiving table that holds the most "food" (books) before it collapses?

3rd graders learned about the art of Picasso and how he drew faces. They created Frankenstein faces in his style. They used creative writing to write a short story about their Frankenstein. Then students loaded their pictures to the ChatterPix app, and used their voices to make their Frankenstein talk and tell the story.

Build the Mayflower STEM! Problem-Solving, Teamwork, Communication
Using ONLY tinfoil, can you and your partner build a Mayflower ship that holds the most "Pilgrims" (marbles) before it sinks?

Technology, Art, and Creative Writing Communication Skills, Creativity, Technology Integration
Students completed a directed draw of a turkey. They then wrote a creative Thanksgiving short story where the turkey was the main character.
Next, students used the ChatterPix app to record their voices telling the story and made their turkeys animated.

The Bulldog Beauties first home football game performance. They ROCKED it! They perform 15 minutes before kickoff at every home game.

to build the tallest tower possible using 100 toothpicks and 1 container of Playdoh.
