Quest students at Clarkdale Elementary stepped into history—Hollywood style! 🎬 The 4th graders brought the past to life with their Hollywood Wax Museum project. It was a true showcase of learning, imagination, and confidence in action. Click on the attached link to enjoy a sample of their work.

Our educators are kicking off 2026 by sharpening their math instruction through targeted training from the Mississippi Department of Education that's designed to support every learner. What happens when Santa’s helpers trade the North Pole for the classroom? A sleigh-full of stories and a love for reading! The LCSD Curriculum Department visited all eight pre-K classes to share a good book, promote literacy, and sprinkle in some holiday magic. Our students are helping spread holiday magic one card at a time. Students from across our school zones put their creativity to work, designing artwork for the district’s Christmas card and publications, and the results were nothing short of merry and bright! Our students are continuing to show up and show out… in a good way! 😊 We started the year with a 95% attendance rate districtwide. Even more impressive is that additional schools have now reached that same amazing goal over the last two months!
